Parked Domains (Domain pointers) allow you to point or park additional domain names to your existing Hosting Account. This will allow users to also reach your website when entering the parked or pointed domain into their browsers. This is known as parking a domain.
Example: You own the business.com and innovation.com.au domain names. You already have a website for business.com, and you want innovation.com.au to come up with the same website.
By parking innovation.com on top of business.com, all URL requests for innovation.com will automatically go to business.com instead.
Parked domains are usually used when:
- You want to have more than one web address for advertising purposes.
- You need a place to park a domain for which you still do not have a website.
- You have misspellings in your domain name that you have registered before.
In addition, you can give the parked domain its own email boxes.
Domains must be registered with a valid registrar before they can be parked. In addition, they will not be functional unless they are configured to point to your DNS servers.
To setup domain name Parking follow the instructions in the below guide.
