How to transfer your WordPress Site to our WordPress Hosting
Transferring your WordPress site from your old hosting to Crazy Domains's WordPress Hosting can be done in several ways. For a small to medium site, the easiest way to do so would be to take advantage of the automatic migration script that comes when you create a new account.
Here’s how to do it:
Step 1. | Click Sign Up / Log In at the top of this page. | ||||||||||||
Step 2. | Ensure that Account Manager is selected. | ||||||||||||
Step 3. | Enter your username and password. Click Log In. | ||||||||||||
Step 4. | Click on the Visit My Account button. | ||||||||||||
Step 5. | Click on the Web Hosting button from the menu bar at the top of the page. If you have already purchased a Wordpress Hosting with us, continue to Step 6. |

Step 6. | Purchase a Wordpress Hosting plan by following these steps:

Step 7. | Click on the Web Hosting button then click on the domain name that is registered to the WordPress Hosting you have with us. | ||||||||||||
Step 8. | On the WordPress Hosting page, scroll down to find Transfer Existing Site tab. Click the [ v ] arrow located at the right side of the tab. | ||||||||||||

Step 9. | Enter the required information: | ||||||||||||

Step 10. | Choose a Data Centre for transfer. Select the location that is closest to your customers. | ||||||||||||
Step 11. | Once you’re all done, click Transfer now. |
Congratulations! You just transferred your WordPress site to our WordPress Hosting.
Important Note: At this part, you have only transferred your WordPress files and databases to our WordPress hosting. Your domain still points to your old hosting account. You will need to update your domain and change your DNS nameservers to ensure that the users will be redirected to the new location of your WordPress site.
