How to reset your Email password for Email Exchange

You can reset the Mailbox password through Outlook Web Access or the Account Manager. Below, we will show you both methods.

  • Through Web Access, you will only be able to change the password of that mailbox.
  • Through your Account Manager you will be able to change all your mailbox passwords.

Reset your password through Web Access

You can reset your password through Web Access by following these steps:

Step 1. Sign in to your Outlook Web Access.
Step 2. On the top right corner next to your name, click on the Gear Icon.

Step 3. Select Change Password from the drop-down menu.

Step 4. Enter your Current Password and then your New Password. Click Save.

Step 5. You will be logged out. Enter your new password to sign in.

Congratulations! Your password has now been reset.

Reset your password through the Account Manager for Exchange 2013

You can reset your password through the Account Manager by following these instructions:

  1. Click Sign Up / Log In at the top of this page.
  2. Ensure that Account Manager is selected.
  3. Enter your username and password and click Log In.
  4. Click on the Visit My Account button.
  5. Click on Email in the menu bar at the top of the page.
  6. Click on the Email Exchange you wish to manage.
  7. From the management page, click on the orange Control Panel button.
  8. Enter your Exchange Manager username and password and click Log In.
  9. On the Exchange home screen, click on the Email Management icon.
  10. Click on the name of your Organization.
  11. Click on Mailboxes from the left menu.
  12. Click on the Display Name for the Mailbox you want to update.
  13. Enter the new Password and click Set Password.

Congratulations! Your password has now been reset for Exchange 2013.

Reset your password through the Account Manager for Exchange 2016

If you have the new Exchange 2016, you can reset your password through the Account Manager by following these steps:

  1. Click Sign Up / Log In at the top of this page.
  2. Ensure that Account Manager is selected.
  3. Enter your username and password and click Log In.
  4. Click on the Visit My Account button.
  5. Click on Email in the menu bar at the top of the page.
  6. Click on the Email Exchange you wish to manage.
  7. From the management page, click on the orange Control Panel button.
  8. Enter your Exchange Manager username and password and click Log In.
  9. Under Hosted Organization - Exchange, click Mailboxes.
  10. Click on the Display Name of the Mailbox you want to update.
  11. Enter the new Password and click Save Changes.

Congratulations! Your password has now been reset for Exchange 2016.

Note: If you are using other E-mail clients on your computer or mobile devices, you will need to update the settings with your new password.
