How to Manage Products with eShop Builder

The Store Manager within your eShop Builder lets you add and manage your Products all in one place, making it easy for you to assign them to a Category, monitor pricing, and customise their details. Learn how to do all of this with the respective details below.

Add a Product

Access the eShop Builder and learn how to add Products by following these instructions:

  1. Click Sign Up / Log In at the top of this page.
  2. Select Website Builder from the drop-down list.
  3. Enter your username and password, then click Log In. You will be redirected to your eShop Builder editor.
  4. From the top menu, click Home and select Online Shop from the drop-down list.
  5. Click on the Advanced tab from the left-side menu.
  6. Drag and drop the Online Store widget onto a placeholder on your page, below the Header Area. The Edit: Online Store pop-up box will automatically appear.

    Note: If you've already added the Online Store widget to your page, simply hover your mouse pointer over the added widget on your page, then click the Gear Icon or Edit settings option to access the Edit: Online Store pop-up box.

  7. Click on the Manage Store button from the pop-up box.
  8. From the left-side menu, hover your pointer over Catalog and click Products. A list of sample Products have been added by the system, which you can edit later.
  9. Click the Add New Product button at the top, then refer to the table below to add-in your Product details:

  10. General These are your Product's general details, which you can complete using the following instructions:

    1. Click Add Image to upload a Product photo, enter the Product Name, SKU (Stock Keeping Unit), and Description in the fields provided, then add in its Weight and tick the box for Requires shipping or pickup, if applicable. If your Product is a service or downloadable item, untick this option.
    2. Enter the Product Price in the field provided. Click the [v] Arrow Icon under Price and enter a "Compare to" price, which will be shown struck-out in the Product details, to emphasize On Sale items; or enter wholesale prices under Bulk discount pricing.
    3. Enable the Availability option, if applicable, then click the Manage link beside In Stock to set the Quantity in Stock and when you want to be notified.
    Attributes These are additional Product characteristics that you can define for your customer's convenience.

    Enter a Value for each defined Attribute then, click Save. Or, click the Manage Attributes link to rename the existing Attributes and add more, then click Save.
    Options This is used for Products that come in different choices like color and size.

    1. Click the Add New Option button then enter a Title like "Color", set an Input Type, and tick the Require customer selection option, if applicable.
    2. Define the Title and Price for each Selection under this, and click Add New Selection to add more.
    Click the Add New Option button again if you wish to add more. A Variations tab is also available for you to define each variant in detail.
    Gallery Add more images of your Product for customers to better visualize it. Simply click Upload images and click Save when done.
    Files Send Files like supporting documents, vouchers, or electronic receipts to your customers once they've paid for their orders. Simply click on the Upload Files button, drag and drop items to sort order, then click Save.
    Tax and Shipping If enabled, you can set up the Shipping Rates and Taxes of your Products within this section.
    SEO Add a Meta Title and Meta Description for your Product so they are optimized and appear in the top lists of search engines.
    Related Products Display related items so customers can also take a look at your other Products. Simply click Assign products or use the Display random products option.
    "Buy Now" button Display the Product anywhere on your site with this button. Simply tick on the boxes to build your button, then copy the generated code and use the Embed widget under the Social tab on your eShop Builder's editor, to display it on your site.
  11. Click the Save button at the top-right corner of the box. A Preview product option is also available to take a quick look at your newly-added Product.

Edit a Product

Once you’ve already added a Product to your store, you can modify it anytime by using the Edit Product option. Follow the steps below to know how:

  1. From the left-side menu, hover your pointer over Catalog and click Products. A table will be displayed with a list of your eShop Products.
  2. Click the Edit Product button corresponding to the Product that you wish to update, or click the [v] Arrow Icon beside it to select a specific Product detail to modify.
  3. Edit the Product details and click the Save button.

Delete a Product

In order to remove a Product from the store, follow these instructions:

  1. From the left-side menu, hover your pointer over Catalog and click Products. A table will be displayed with a list of your eShop Products.
  2. Click the [v] Arrow Icon beside the Edit Product button on the Product that you wish to remove, then select Delete Product from the drop-down list. Or, tick the box beside each Product and click the Bulk Update button that appears at the top, then click Delete Selected from the drop-down list. If closer to the bottom of the page, a Delete button is also available under Delete Products.
  3. Click Yes to confirm.

Other Actions:

  • Enable/Disable a Product - Click the switch beside Enabled or Disabled, or tick the box beside each Product and click the Bulk Update button that appears at the top, then select Enable/Disable Selected from the drop-down list. If closer to the bottom of the page, Enable/Disable buttons are also available under Bulk Update.
  • Feature a Product - Click the Star Icon corresponding to the Product that you wish to Feature on your Homepage.
  • Import Products - Click the Import Products button at the top or bottom of the page and select the type of Import tool to use (CSV, XCart, LiteCommerce), then click Browse to select the file to Import, configure your settings, and click Import to proceed.
  • Export Products - Tick the box beside each Product that you wish to Export, then click the Bulk Update button that appears at the top and click Export Selected. If closer to the bottom of the page, Export All/Export Selected buttons are also available under Export Products.
