How to Set Up Your Exchange Email on Apple Mail

Microsoft Exchange is highly compatible with a wide range of platforms, including macOS, making it easy to manage your emails, contacts, calendars, and tasks across devices. This article provides a step-by-step guide to setting up your Exchange email account in Apple Mail, helping you achieve smooth integration and efficient communication on your Mac.

 

How To Set up Email Exchange with Apple Mail  

 

  1. Go to your dock or Applications folder and launch Mail
  2. In the top-left menu, click Mail and select Add Account
  3. From the list of account types, select Microsoft Exchange, then click Continue
  4. Enter Your Email Details 
  • Name: This is what people will see when you send emails 
  • Email Address: Type your full email (e.g., [email protected]
  • Password: Enter the password for your email account 

Set Up Account Settings (if prompted)  

If Mail asks for more details (like server info), it’s usually filled automatically.  If not,  
 
  • Internal/External URL: mail.premium.exchange 
  • Username: Your full email address 
 
  1. Select which apps you want to sync with Exchange (Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Notes). 
  2. Click Done
 
 
Congratulations! You have added your Exchange Email account to Apple Mail.
