Why Import Data in Outlook

- Open Outlook on your desktop and from your Home window, click on the File tab.
- Click on Open & Export option, then select on Import/Export.
- On the Import and Export Wizard window, select Import from another program or file option and click the Next button.
- Select the Outlook Data File (.pst) option and click the Next button.
- Click the Browse button to locate the .pst file and choose from the options below to apply to your imported files, then click Next.
- Replace duplicates with imported items
- Allow duplicates to be created
- Do not import duplicates
- Select the top-level folder and ensure that the Include subfolders option is selected, then select the destination of the .pst file to be imported, and click the Finish button.
