How To Import Data in Outlook 2010

If you are moving from another email account or email provider you can use the Import feature of Outlook to migrate your email data.

Follow the steps below to import data to Outlook. We recommend for safety if you’re currently using Outlook to download a backup copy before performing this import.

NOTE: Before performing this import we recommend that you disable Cached Exchange Mode.

 

Import Data to Outlook 2010

You can import Data to Outlook 2010 by doing the following:

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Click File and select Open, then click Import.

  3. Click on Import from another program or file, then click Next.

  4. Select file type (.pst) to import from, then click Next.

  5. Select Personal Folder File (.pst), then click Next.

  6. Select the folder you want to import data from.

  7. Select the folder you want the data to be imported to.

  8. Click Finish.
 

After the import is complete, you can enable Cached Exchange Mode again.
