How to Add Several Domains to My WordPress Site
There are several reasons why it’s important to add multiple domain names to your WordPress site. One of which, is redirecting users to your website for any misspelled brand name, or brand name with different extensions. This way, you won’t lose traffic to competitors from mistyping.
With Crazy Domains WordPress Hosting, you can add several domains to your WordPress site. All you have to do is follow the steps below:
Step 1. Log in to your Account Manager.
Step 2. Click on the Web Hosting option from the menu bar at the top of the page.
Step 3. Click on the domain name that is registered to WordPress Hosting that you want to manage.
Step 4. On the WordPress Hosting page, scroll down to find the Domain Name section. Click the [v] arrow symbol located at the right side of the tab.
Step 5. Under the Domains tab, click on the Add Domain button.
Step 6. Click on either of the two options available:
- Click Select from My Account if the domain name is registered with Crazy Domains, then select the domain you wish to add from the drop-down list. The domain will automatically be configured with WordPress Hosting.
- Click Enter a domain or subdomain if the domain name is registered elsewhere, then enter the domain name in the field provided, e.g. www.mydomain.com. You will need to configure this domain's A record with your domain provider, for it to show your WordPress site.
Step 7. Click Add. It may take a few minutes to complete the process.
Once completed, you will find your newly-added domain on the Domains tab, under your Primary WordPress domain.
