Access another persons shared calendar with Outlook

Before you can access another person's calendar, contacts or inbox they will have to grant permission to use their email account to you.

Once they have done this, continue below.

Opening another person's folder with Outlook

You can open another person's folder with Outlook by doing the following:

Step 1. Open Outlook.
Step 2. Click on File in the top menu.

Step 3. Click on Open & Export in the left menu and then click Other User's Folder.

Step 4. In the name box, type the name of the person who owns the folder or select name from the list of users.

Step 5. Choose the folder that you want to open.

Step 6. Click OK.

If you use the Open Other User's Folder method as outlined, only the primary Outlook folders (contacts, inbox, Journal, Notes, Tasks) may be accessed; sub folders are not available. In order to access folders other than Primary Outlook folders, they must share their entire mailbox.
