Terms and Conditions for .uk Domains
Registry requirements - contract with Nominet UK
There are registry requirements for a domain
name that ends in .uk that:
- you enter a separate contract with Nominet UK (company number
3203859) on the terms at www.nominet.org.uk/nominet-terms.html
- you comply with the DRS Policy at www.nominet.org.uk/DisputeResolution/DrsPolicy/DrsPolicy.html
- you comply with the DRS Procedure at www.nominet.org.uk/DisputeResolution/DrsProcedure/DrsProcedure.html;
and
- you comply with the rules at
www.nominet.org.uk/ReferenceDocuments/Rules/Rules.html
You must enter that contract and comply with the contract and
those policies.
You warrant to us that you have accepted the terms of the contract.
You release us from any claim that arises from anything we
do, or anything that happens, in accordance with that contract
and those policies.
Acting as your agent with Nominet UK
You release us from and indemnify us against any claim, harm,
loss or damage that you may suffer or incur in connection with
our acting as your agent for the purposes of your contract with
Nominet UK, whether arising out of breach of contract, negligence,
breach of fiduciary duty or howsoever otherwise.
Registry requirements
There are registry requirements for European domain names that:
- you must submit to the terms of use and registry requirements
of their respective registries; and
- you must submit to the terms and requirements of WebWide
Internet Communication GmbH.
- You must submit to and comply with those terms and requirements.
- You release us from any claim that arises from anything
we do, or anything that happens, in accordance with those
terms and requirements.
Application of gTLD terms
The use of European domain names is governed by the general
terms of use listed above that apply to gTLDs.
Redelegation Fees
European domain names may be subject to fees for redelegation.
