Setting up Entourage 2008

Checking if Entourage is fully updated.

1. Navigate to the Applications folder and open up a Microsoft application (i.e. Word)."Microsoft AutoUpdate."
   
   
2. Click "Check for Updates."
   
   
3. Repeat this process until there are no updates available for the software.

Setting up Exchange on Entourage 2008

1. Launch Entourage.
   
   
2. Close the Entourage Setup Assistant (if it launches) by clicking on the red circle in the upper left corner
   
   
3. Click the Tools menu and choose "Accounts"
   
   
4. Click New and go to "Exchange"
   
   
5. When the Setup Assistant opens, click "Configure account manually."
   
   
6. In the Account Settings tab under Edit Account, enter:
   
   
   • Account name - we recommend using "Exchange"
     
     
   • Name - Your First & Last name
     
     
   • E-mail address - Your email address
     
     
   • Account ID - Your email address
     
     
   • Domain - leave blank
     
     
   • Password - Your email password
     
     
   • Exchange Server: ultraexchange.com.au
     
     
   • Check the box next to "This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL)"
     
     
7. Click OK.
   
   
8. Give it some time (maybe up to several minutes) to synchronize with the exchange server
   
   
9. Click the Tools menu and go to Junk E-mail Protection. Choose the "High" radio button and click "OK"
