Microsoft FrontPage 2002 gives you control
of the tools and technologies you need to create and manage
your website as you want. Start working exclusively in
a familiar Office interface with no need to program, or
take control of your HTML code. You can create pages with
a normal WYSIWYG view or write code in HTML view. This
tutorial will show you how to upload your files to the
web server using FrontPage 2002.

Getting Your FTP Settings
You will need to have your FTP settings on hand in order
to use FrontPage 2002 to upload your website. Please check
your confirmation setup email 5. for the following login
information:
- FTP User Name
This is the user name for your hosting account.
- FTP Password
This your password for your hosting account.
- Website URL
http://www.yourdomainnamehere.com
- FTP Site URL
ftp://www.yourdomainnamehere.com

How to upload
using Frontpage 2002

Start up your Microsoft FrontPage software.
Click File > New > Page or Web. |

Design your website. Remember to save all your web
pages in the folder My Webs located at: C:\Documents and
Settings\*user*\My Documents\My Webs.

When you have finished designing your website, click File
> Open Web. Find and select the My Webs folder in your
computer. |

You will now see a Folder List to the left of your design
window which will show all of the files in your My Webs
folder. |

Click File > Publish Web. This will display the
Publish Destination window. Type the publish destination
as: ftp://ftp.yourdomain.com.au (replace yourdomain.com.au
with your own domain name). Click OK.

Type your Username in the Name field and your Password
in the Password field. |

FrontPage connects to your server and opens the Publish
Web window. Select the files to publish and click Publish.
