Create a new Email Exchange account
Log in to your Email Exchange Manager here: https://winlogin.syra.net.au/
- Click on 'Email Exchange'
- Click on the name of your 'Organisation'
- Click on 'Users' on left menu
- Click create new 'User' button
- Enter the required information and click 'Create User'

Change your account password
To change your password login to Outlook Web Access: http://www.ultraexchange.com.au/owa/
- Once logged in, go to the top right hand corner of and click the 'Options' button
- Next, go to the far left scroll down and click 'Change Password'
- You will now be prompted to enter your current password and new password and click 'Save'
- You will be informed that your password has been successfully changed, press the 'OK' button to log in with your new password.

Enable/Disable Spam Filter
The Spam Email Filter must be turned on in Outlook Web Access.
- Log in to Outlook Web Access: http://www.ultraexchange.com.au/owa/
- Go to 'Options'
- Click 'See All Options'
- Click on 'Block or Allow'
- Click on 'Automatically Filter Junk Email'
- Click 'Save' at the bottom of the page
Doing this will move those messages to your Spam Email folder automatically.

Assign multiple mailboxes to an account
- Log in to your Email Exchange Manager
- Click on 'Email Exchange'
- Click on the name of your 'Organisation'
- Click on 'Mailboxes' on the left
- Click 'Create New Mailbox' button
- If this mailbox is for a new user, select 'New User'
- If it's for an existing user, select 'Existing User'
- Enter the required information and click 'Create Mailbox'

Share your Outlook folders, calendars or contacts
Share your your Exchange account and allow other people to see items in your Outlook folders. You can set partial or full access permission to your calendar, contacts, inbox, and much more.
If you want someone to simply view, for example, your calendar and then only to be able to View or Change appointments and meetings, use the method: 'Grant partial/selected access'.
Grant Partial/Selected Access
- Open Outlook Exchange
- Click on the 'Folder list' on the left menu (Yellow Icon Folder)
- Click the icon for the folder you want to share e.g calendar
- Click 'Properties'
- Click the 'Permissions' tab
- Click 'Add' to add the name of the user that you want to grant access to, or select 'Default'
- In 'Permissions', select the access permission options for this user, and then click 'OK'
After granting access, the other party will need to open their Outlook and configure to receive your shared resources

Access another person's shared calendar, contacts and inbox
Before you can access another person's calendar, contacts or inbox they will have to grant permissions to you.
- Open Outlook Exchange
- Click on 'File' in the top menu
- Click on 'Open' on the left menu and then click 'Other User's Folder'
- In the name box, type the name of the person who owns the folder or select name from the list of users
- Click the folder that you want to open, and then click 'OK'
Note: If you use the "Open Other User's Folder" method as outlined, only the primary Outlook folders (contacts, inbox, Journal, Notes, Tasks) may be accessed; sub folders are not available. In order to access other than Primary Outlook folders, you must share the entire mailbox.

Create rules in Outlook
Outlook supports a wide range of rules that you can create. To make the learning process easy, we'll show you how to create a rule bases on a name or subject. Once you see how to create a simple rule, you'll be able to apply your knowledge to creating other type of rules.
Create a rule based on a name or subject.
- Open Outlook Exchange
- Open the message you want to base a rule (rule: One or more automatic actions taken on e-mail messages and meeting requests that meet certain conditions, along with any exceptions to those conditions. Rules are also referred to as filters.) on.
- On the toolbar, click create 'Rule'.
- In the 'Create Rule' dialog box, select the conditions and actions you want to apply.
To add more conditions, actions, or exceptions to the rule, click 'Advanced Options', and then follow the rest of the instructions in the 'Rules Wizard'.

Download the Offline address book in Outlook
To force Outlook to download the Offline Address Book. You may do this by selecting:
- Open Outlook
- On the top menu click Send/Receive
- On menu now click 'Send/Receive Groups' from the drop down select 'Download Address Book'
- Uncheck 'Download changes since last Send/Receive'
- Select 'Full Details' and and click 'OK'

- Click 'Create New Distribution List' button
- Enter the required information and click 'Create Distribution List'

- Click 'Save Changes'.

If the domain you are using with UltraExchange is not pointing to our DNS servers, you will need to add the following to your domain name's DNS configuration for your mail services to work correctly:

What's the difference between email hosting and email exchange?
Email hosting allows you to simply create professional email accounts like myname@mydomain.com.au you can use to send and receive email from.
Email Exchange will also allow you to create email accounts but also has the ability to access your email, calendar and contacts live and sycronised from your desktop, mobile phone and internet browser, making it the a must have business tool for everyone.

Can I upgrade from an Email Hosting to Email Exhange when I'm ready?
Yes, you can, however you will need to purchase a new package from the Email Exchange page. Our support team can then assist with moving data over to the Exchange platform.

Can I use a mobile device with Email Exchange?
Yes. iPhones, iPads, Samsung Galaxy and all other smartphones support Exchange for free using their ActiveSync capability. BlackBerry devices offer full Blackberry Enterprise compatibility via the BlackBerry Upgrade.

What is the maximum email size?
The maximum email size for send and receive is 50MB.

Why does my account lock after invalid attempts?
After 10 incorrect password attempts our system locks the account for 30 minutes. This system is in place for our protection and yours.
- To unlock an account, log in to your Email Exchange Manager
- Click on 'Email Exchange'
- Click on the name of your 'Organisation'
- Click on 'Users'
- Select the User, under the 'Confirm Password' field remove the check from 'Account is Locked Out'.

Forgotten your password?
If you have forgotten your password please login to the Email Exchange Manager or contact the account holder as they can change your password in the Email Exchange Manager. Alternatively you can use the Lost password tool to recover your password by clicking 'My Account' at the top of this page, clicking 'Email Login' and then clicking 'Lost Password'.

Do I need a VPN to connect to your service?
No. Outlook and Entourage connects to the service using secure SSL HTTPS connections.

I want to stop my service with Crazy Domains, how do I get my data?
You have the ability to download all mail messages to a local machine(s) through Outlook.

How secure is my email exchange enviroment? Is it protected by SSL?
Yes, email access via Outlook and Outlook Web Access is via a SSL.

How is mailbox storage allocated?
You are allocated storage space for all your users' mailboxes. You can configure the amount of storage space for each mailbox and public folders via the Email Exhange Manager within the overall limit of the service included.

How to change the ownership of my account?
Changing ownership of an account is a PERMANENT function. You will not be able to change the ownership back once you have made the change.
As you may know, ownership change means to transfer all of the rights and duties of the account to the designated person/entity. To protect your properties, we do not accept the application of ownership change online, by telephone or email.
We need you to fill in and fax back the following documentation. Listed fee's must be cleared before we can process your application. If application is complete you should receive confirmation of completion within 5 business days.
